Made to your specification

Khairay Group manufactures children's clothing for kidswear brands, retailers and merchandise programmes. A kidswear range can include T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, joggers, tracksuits, jackets and matching clothing sets, developed to your designs, colours and age-based size range.

Children's garments need softer fabrics, careful trims and sizing graded across ages, and they must meet the safety rules of the market they are sold in. We agree fabric, trims and construction in the specification — for example whether hoods have drawcords — and approve fit and finish on a sample before bulk production.

Children's clothing safety

Children's clothing must meet the rules of the market it is sold in — for example limits on cords and drawstrings, small parts, flammability, chemical content and labelling (such as EN 14682 in Europe or CPSC rules in the United States). We do not describe garments as tested or compliant unless that testing is documented for your project. State your destination market and any testing requirement in your brief.

Sampling & approval

From brief to bulk production

Sample development typically takes approximately 7 days after final design and material confirmation. Complex patterns, special fabrics, tooling, washes or revisions may require additional time. Bulk production lead time is confirmed in the quotation based on approved samples, order quantity, material availability and customization requirements.

Kidswear: buyer questions

Can you make hoodies without drawcords for young children?

Yes. Hoods and waistbands can be made without cords; your destination market's rules decide what is required for each age group.

Can you produce matching sets?

Tops and bottoms can be developed together so colours, prints and branding match, and packed as a set.

Do you test children's clothing for safety?

Testing is arranged where your market or retailer requires it and documented for your project. State the requirement in your brief.

Can kidswear use the same designs as our adult range?

Yes. Adult styles can be adapted and graded into children's sizes, with trims and construction reviewed for younger wearers.
